Wow, amazing. I am totally amazed by cacti, they are such an amazing creation and so efficient.
Not everyone understands how exciting gray skies can be!! Nice photos Leolinda!
Ouch....l didn't know birds have such tough feet.
I love it. The west has its own unique beauty. Thanks for the picture.
Leolinda,
That is one big cacti! It is amazing how large they grow.

Leolinda - That's a very clever bird and what a huge cactus. We have tiny little things in the screen room although I have seen certain varieties in Florida grow pretty tall.
Hi
Looks like you can set up your home anywere.
Good luck and success.

Feet of leather, I hope you'll remember me if you learn of anyone moving to "The OC" and I will do the same!

Nice, a high rise with a view. That looks like a great birdie paradise. Thanks, Jim
Oh my..that looks painful... ;) now that's a big cactus.
June, the Saguaro Cacti are just absolutely beautiful. They get more arms as they age.
Judi, thank you very much.
Karen, they know how to balance themselves pretty well eh
Terry, it sure does
Connie, this one must be over a hundred years old
John, they sell for around $150 a foot... that bird is sitting on a lot of money
Lou, yep!
Michael, I sure will
Jim, it's a great vantage point
Konnie, it's an absolutely big old cactus
I got to go to Saguaro National Park many years ago. My marketing guru took me there since he has this fascination with all things cactus.
I need to start reading my comments. Comment #14 is actually by me. Russel left to go to a home inspection and left his computer logged in to ActiveRain. We always try to save electricity by not using both computers if it's not necessary.
Jim, everyone is trying to save money in this economy. Thank you for stopping by and I'm glad to hear that my picture conjured up memories.
What a great photo! OUCH!
