Leolinda, thanks for leaving the comment about the retirement community perhaps fueling the economic recovery in real estate. While we see primarily second or vacation home buyers on Topsail Island, we do see an increase in "boomers" who have children in the military retiring to our mainland areas. With Wilmington so close (theatres, great restaurants, shopping, etc., the beach just moments away) it looks attractive.
Do you hold open houses where you are? If so, do you find an increase in traffic through those events as opposed to the traffic through the standard "stand alone" office?
