WOW!  It's finally opened!  After a year of construction, Lis Doon Varna which is located at 16100 North Arrowhead Fountain Center Drive in Peoria is open for business.  Lis Doon Varna is a sister pub of Rúla Búla in Tempe.  Both Irish pubs are know for its awesome beer selection, music, hors d'oeuvres.

Lis Doon Varna will be serving premium imported beers and American microbrews.  They shall have live music on Wednesday, Fridays and Saturdays.  Listen to the traditional Irish music or high energy American bands.  

You can dine inside, have a large party for up to 150 or order take out.  The most popular dessert is bread pudding with whiskey sauce, Guiness brownie with white chocolate sauce and ice cream.  For hors d'oeuvres order their homemade hot Bollix spicy potato balls, Irish bacon, or Irish cheddar cheese balls served with hot sauce.  I like to order whiskey-glazed salmon, corned beef or Guiness beef boxty for dinner.
